King

There’s a whole side of who I am that I never knew. A side of me I would have never found on my own. The depth of my history completely shocked me. But it was hidden from me. My mom protected me from this past and raised me disregarding all of those facts. What kind of person would I have been if I knew all of it? Would I have survived with the massive burden of my upbringing? There are so many variables that would’ve changed my course, but I just can’t help but feel absolutely lucky and blessed to end up the way I am like today. I would’ve been a king, ruler of my own life. I would have been stuck up and entitled to my fortune. I would have been a complete asshole. But I didn’t get that fate. I feel much richer with all the friends I made and with meeting God. But, just thinking of what I could’ve been just amazes me.
